Dr. R.Salwan attended Govt.Dental College, Amritsar, India. He received his Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 1980.He worked in Oral and Maxillo-Facial department in a general hospital in India, and received license to practice dentistry in California in 1986. Dr Salwan is in private practice in city of South Gate, California.
Dr Salwan has served on Leadership development committee of California Dental Association, Chairman of Membership committee of Los Angeles Dental Society. He was the past president of Indian Dental Association of California. Dr Salwan is the President of Punjabi Dental Society, which is over 1600 members strong in California with additional chapters in India. Dr.Salwan is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
Dr Salwan has lectured in India at different dental schools. He is on Clinical Faculty in Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery department at University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
