Dr. David Little is an accomplished national and international speaker, Professor, author and Researcher. COURSE OF ACTION - IMPLEMENTING IMPLANTS
Charting the Course
This course will educate on successful implementation of implants into your general dentistry practice. This course will train attendees on the basic concept of implant dentistry and prosthetics. During the course attendees will receive a basic implant surgical overview and learn the benefits of subcrestal implant placement and a conical implant connection. Attendees will learn system specific keys for success including patient selection, case acceptance, diagnosis and treatment planning, temporizing and how to maximize tissue and esthetic results. Attendees will be taught easy to use impression techniques, restorative procedures, working with a jig and temporization. Once completed, you will be ready to implement your course of action for implantology in your general practice.
POSSIBLITIES IN DENTISTRY
Cosmetic, Restorative, Implant Dentistry and How to Implement Them Into Your Practice
In his presentation, Dr. Little will discuss the exciting possibilities of direct and indirect restorative dentistry in your practice. A review of systems and treatment options will be offered including techniques that can be implemented immediately. Esthetic restorative material and techniques will be presented. Cases will be discussed involving detailed impression taking, wax-up requirements, preparation protocol, provisionalization, laboratory communications, and simplified cementation recommendations.
Participants will learn how to develop a team approach to implant dentistry. They will gain an understanding of the clinical and diagnostic requirements necessary for appropriate implant selection, placement and restoration. An overview of successful strategies for integrating the latest technologies such as digital photography, digital radiology, and laser therapy into your practice will be presented.
With more than 20 years of successful practice management experience, Dr. Little provides invaluable insight into successful private practice leadership methodology. He will outline successful relationship development techniques that will enhance your practice and strengthen your professional life.
