He earned his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific in 2001 after earning his BS degree in Physiology, from the University of California, Davis in 1998. Upon graduation from Pacific he was asked to join the faculty and has slowly increased his academic involvement over the last decade. Dr. Kachalia has served in numerous leadership capacities at the university level and most recently was selected to be a fellow in the American Dental Education Association’s Leadership Institute. Throughout his time in academia he has maintained a private practice geared toward restorative dentistry with his wife and fellow Pacific alum Dr. Charity Duncan.
