Dr. Halabo attended UC Santa Barbara for his undergraduate studies in Microbiology where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a scholarship to Attend Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a General Practice Residency as head resident at the Loma Linda Veterans Hospital. Dr. Halabo has an exceptional practice providing excellent dentistry in a fun environment.
He has been a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) evaluator since 1998. He was the director of dental care at the UCSD Homeless clinic in Pacific Beach. He is an adjunct faculty member at UC San Diego. He is a clinical member of the Continuum for Innovative Dentistry. He has had articles published in professional journals and websites. Dr. Halabo has been involved in product evaluations for many years and is extremely proud and honored to share his knowledge and experience with those seeking to provide excellent dental care for their patients. He is a member of the San Diego County Dental Society, California Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
He lectures on a variety of topics including dental technology and equipment, CAD/CAM single visit restorations, having “The Balanced Practice & Life”, zero sensitivity composite procedures, and Practice growth in any economy. Dr. Halabo enjoys lecturing so he can pass on his knowledge of materials and practice growth with an emphasis on improving patient care and the Dentists enjoyment of their profession.
Dr. Halabo has earned numerous awards for the practice of dentistry and has been voted “Best Dentist” in San Diego Magazine by his peers in 06’, 07’, 08’,09’ and 10’.
Dr. Halabo has been in private practice for 14 years at his current location. He maintains a private practice providing a full range of dental services including implants and cosmetic dentistry.
