As a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Dr. Gillespie approaches dentistry in a progressive, yet conservative manner. His success in dentistry stems from the clarity and effectiveness of communication with colleagues, staff, and patients. Dr. Gillespie maintains a full time practice in Vancouver, WA, focusing on general dentistry with an emphasis on implant dentistry. His vision of comprehensive dentistry focuses on effective treatment planning and utilizing the best dental materials available. Dr. Gillespie lectures nationally and is associated with Catapult Elite. As a member of this select group of clinicians, he is involved in ongoing evaluations of the latest materials and techniques in dentistry. Dr. Gillespie was involved with implant research while at the University of Washington and now works with implant companies to mentor other general dentists on implant placement, occlusion, and esthetic implant restorations. Dr. Gillespie holds a strong passion for continuing education, devoting hours to furthering his own knowledge in esthetics, implants, and dental materials. He is known for his personal and approachable style, with an enthusiasm for dentistry that is contagious.

Today we have more options than ever for ceramic restorations. How do we choose the proper material for each situation? What advantages do some have over others? Having a clear understanding of ceramic systems will help you understand when to choose E.Max versus Zirconia, or all ceramics versus PFM’s. Dr. Gillespie also delivers a current review of impression techniques and materials, temporization, and cementation materials. Participants will feel confident to achieve predictable, long-lasting, esthetics results with every ceramic case.
