Lecture Topics
“MYTH BUSTING” Examining the Truth and Myths of Prepped vs. Prepless Porcelain Veneers
There are many “beliefs” we hold regarding “non-prepped” veneers, and more specifically, Lumineers. Educational classes, laboratories, published articles and advertising have perpetuated many concerns, among them, worry about the emergence profile, periodontal health, ability to modify shades and occlusion, the performance of “instant” orthodontics, all while looking lifelike.
Dr. Freydberg will address each of these issues and more, to demonstrate which Myths are real, and which get “Busted”.

“TECHSTHETICS” and “WHICH PREP WOULD YOU LIKE DONE ON YOU?”
Many of us are confused about how to maximize our technologies, which to buy, what steps to take and the return on investment we can achieve.

Dr. Freydberg will describe the seamless hi-tech visit and show the relationship between technology and esthetic dentistry, or “TECHSTHETICS” which can enhance the acceptance and performance of esthetic procedures.

Achieving acceptance with technology and digital communication is accelerated when “pain” is eliminated from the equation. Dr. Freydberg will also examine the controversies of high-tech “no-prep” veneers and crowns vs. the “traditional” methods often used and taught today. He will show us how to get predictable esthetic results with minimal or no tooth reduction, and discuss the legal issues regarding the various approaches to esthetic dentistry available today.

High Tech Dentistry in an Everyday Practice
There is a time-delay between the development of a technology and its widespread use. Many of our needs have been met with the development of various hi-tech tools; yet, many of us are confused about what to buy and how to use them. And although some of us have purchased hi-tech capabilities, we have no idea how to adapt our practices to maximize these tools or even know what can be accomplished!

Dr. Freydberg will clarify the practical aspects of “hi-tech” dentistry and the hi-tech visit.
Additionally, the Internet has become a necessary tool for the clinical dentist. Already, patient communication, clinical consultations, and sharing records have found its way into our treatment rooms

Dr. Freydberg will also address the essential marketing and management tools the Internet offers, as an isolated practice is now placed at a disadvantage.

At this fast paced entertaining course, designed for both doctors and staff who are already computerized, and also necessary for those shopping for, or adding technologies to their first or next system, this course will clarify the technologies being used in dentistry today.
