Sheri Doniger has experienced all aspects of the dental world, from dental assisting and office management to dental hygiene to dentist. Graduating from Loyola University College of Dentistry with a dental hygiene degree in 1976, she then earned her dental degree from University of Illinois in 1983. In addition to practicing clinical dentistry in Lincolnwood, Illinois, Sheri served as an educator in dental and dental hygiene programs, been a dental consultant for a major dental insurance company and written for a variety of dental publications. Currently, Sheri is the Editor of Woman Dentist Journal. Her focus is globally forwarding every women dentist. Her passion is women’s health and well being issues.

1. The Art of Balancing your Life
Women practitioners have many roles—dentist, small business owner, associate, teacher, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. This program is designed to offer insights for women practitioners to balance their professional and personal lives.
After attending this course, the participant will be able to:

- Manage time
- Say “no”
- Feel in control of their time without remorse
2. Women’s Cardiovascular Disease
Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in American women. With one in five women having some form of cardiovascular disease, heart disease has become a major concern for every woman. The signs and symptoms of a women’s heart attack are different from a man’s. Without understanding of these warning signs, irreversible damage or death may ensue.
After attending this course, the participants will be able to:
- Learn the various types of cardiovascular disease
- Evaluate personal risk factors
- Distinguish the signs and symptoms unique to women’s coronary heart disease
- Educate our female patient to increase their education and awareness of coronary heart disease
