Dr. Blitzer is a 1977 graduate from Temple University School of Dentistry. He received his certificate in Prosthodontics in 1979, also from Temple University.
He was the Advanced Prosthodonics Clinical Course Director and an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry until 1995, when he left Temple to become the Director of Clinical Research at the Caulk Division of Dentsply International. His most recent academic appointment was Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Dentistry at UMAB.
Over the past 30 years, Dr. Blitzer has lectured both nationally and internationally, and has been a consultant for several dental manufacturers here and abroad. He has maintained an active practice of Prosthodontics and advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry in the Delaware Valley, (PA, NJ, and DE) and is currently practicing in Milford, DE.
